Green was selected as 1 of 6 recipients of the 2022 Charles Ives Scholarship awarded by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Harmony Ives, the widow of Charles Ives, bequeathed to the Academy the royalties of Charles Ives’s music, which has enabled the Academy to give awards in composition since 1970. Each year the Academy awards six Charles Ives Scholarships of $7500 each to composers for continued study in composition, either at institutions of their choice or privately with distinguished composers. Green accepted the award at the Academy’s award ceremony in New York on May 18, 2022.
