garden on greene street is an improvisation set featuring storytelling from my mother Iris Womack and aunt Mary Womack Sowell. Drawing from voice and field recordings, this work explores the Womack ancestry in relation to the lands that we have once held close, opening space for cross-generational memories to emerge through improvisation, storytelling, and, call and response.
