Portraits will be featured at the 2019 Impromptu Fest in Chicago, IL. All five movements of the piece will be performed by pianist Marianne Parker as a part of Crossing Borders Music’s program entitled “African-American Women Composers: Looking Back and Looking Forward.” The performance will occur at 3pm on March 31 in Guarneri Hall.
